We are a company with tradition

Production in our foundry began in 1959. The company SPO was established in 1991 and became the first private enterprise of its kind in the Czech Republic, boasting the longest tradition in producing castings using the lost wax method. Currently, we employ 50 people and produce 200 tons of castings annually.

Approximately 75% of our products are exported abroad, for example to Germany, Sweden, Italy, or France.

Our main priority is customer satisfaction – we offer high-quality castings, timely delivery, and reasonable prices.

We have successfully collaborated with the EU on the project "Implementation of Age Management at SPO s.r.o." The project's goal is to introduce Age Management in SPO s.r.o. and to establish a systematic approach to human resources in order to maintain the company's competitiveness. Special attention will be given to creating conditions for extending employees' working lives and improving conditions for employees aged 50 and above by developing alternative work arrangements and adapting job responsibilities to suit employees over 50.

The aim of the project is to focus on knowledge transfer, managing intergenerational relationships, teaching employees how to share their experience across generations, creating an effective succession system, and thereby preserving the company's know-how. Additionally, it aims to facilitate employee transitions to other positions and establish a unified mentoring system for the systematic and sustainable transfer of the organization’s knowledge base.
